She has spoken with our Association in the past about cold stunning events with sea turtles and their rescue and rehabilitation.  Her presentation at this meeting will be "Pathway to Community-Based Conservation on Cape Cod," and she would like to have input from our Association

Non-stop bites all day long! I had the pleasure of taking Joe out for an exciting 4-hour inshore fishing adventure with Annie Bee Sportfishing this summer. We set off from Barnstable Harbor in the early morning, ready to explore the rich waters off Cape Cod. The conditions were perfect for a day on the water - clear skies and calm seas greeted us as we left Barnstable Marina. It was shaping up to be an ideal day for targeting some of the area's prized Striped Bass.
With our gear rigged and ready, we headed offshore to some of my favorite spots. I decided to start with some bottom fishing, as the tide and conditions looked promising for this technique. We dropped our lines and it wasn't long before we felt the telltale tug of a fish on the other end. As we continued, I switched things up and we tried our hand at trolling, which proved to be equally effective. The variety of techniques kept things interesting, and Joe seemed to be enjoying the constant action. We even mixed in some jigging, which is always a fun and active way to target fish.
Our efforts paid off when Joe landed a nice 22-inch Striped Bass - a great catch that put up a good fight. While we didn't land any monsters, the consistent action made for an enjoyable and productive trip. We wrapped up our time on the water with smiles all around, having experienced some of the best that Barnstable's offshore waters have to offer.

Frank brought his family and friends out for a nice day on the bay! We can’t wait to see you fellas again! And thank you for the rebook! We got all the meat we needed and then went for the trophies and they just weren’t there. That’s fishing. The Jigs caught every fish we landed. Thanks to a good friend in the harbor, we were on the fish immediately. I really wanted to land a pig for these guys but hey, it just didn’t happen today.

To say we did well is an understatement! We had a special guest Marcus from Wampanoag Shells, and he was a fish magnet! Started off with fish 27”-35” and then we moved to one of our secret spots. Fish sizes were 27” 28” 33” 34” 35” 35” 39” 40” 40” 40” 40” and 40.25”, a few more we didn’t measure and also with a bunch of mackerel! Wow what a trip!
